Every Second Saturday, Open Console, from 11-1pm at Old Town.
We would like to invite you and your friends to attend our "Monthly Open Console, held every second Saturday from 11am - 1pm at Old Town Music Hall. Bring your music, and take a turn at the Mighty Wurlitzer! LATOS Board Member Stirling Yearian will be on hand to familiarize you with the console, assist with registration, and answer any questions you may have. If you're a little shy, feel free to just get a picture at the console and get ready for "next time". Everyone always has a great time! We look forward to seeing you at this fun monthly event for LATOS Members!
If you're not a player, no worries, an open console is fun for everyone. It's a great chance to hear some fun music, chat with friends in an informal setting, and perhaps learn a little bit about the Wurlitzer. We will have complimentary snacks and beverages available throughout the morning.
No need to RSVP, there is plenty of room for everyone. There will be a sign-up sheet next to the console, so everyone can have a chance to play. After the open console, there are nearby restaurants to grab a quick bite, and if you like, come back for the 2:30pm matinee. Randy Woltz will be at the console for a short recital, then a sing-along, followed by the scheduled Weekend feature film. Tickets are only $10 for Seniors and $12 for general admission. The theatre also has a "Bill's Special", which is popcorn and a drink for only five "smackeroos"!
